We care, We love is a non-denominational Christian humanitarian organization offering social and justice services, working together with a variety of other organisations to support needy people in Uganda. Our mission includes assisting orphans, vulnerable & abandoned children, widows, and the elderly, without discrimination against race, colour, gender, tribe, or life experience.
OUR HISTORY
Pastor Frank Mukiliza founded We Care, We Love in 2007. He opened up a center for needy and neglected children, as well as orphans, widows, and the elderly. Each Saturday the center provides food, clothing, and supplies to these populations. A greater need was spotted of children not having education, great ignorance from community people about the benefit of taking a child to school, poverty and literacy.
Due to HIV that had killed many people, grand children were kept by grandparents, some girls with early pregnancy not ready to be mothers could drop babies to their parents and run to the city centres for green pastures but due to lack of education still they would end up in prostitution developing to be nobodies. Pastor frank got an idea to start a school to offer free education, gathering persecuted children to give them housing in this way a children home also was opened. Currently a primary school runs and also an orphanage home with 280 children. Currently the center is called MY DREAM CENTRE UGANDA. a place where dreams are being incubated and brought to reality for the glory of God.
WHAT WE DO
At My dream centre Uganda, we provide education, clothing, medication, shelter and supplies to orphans and needy children.
We give support to widows, single mothers giving them free skills for easy job creation for a self sustenance life.
We give support and care to the elderly who are lonely, sick, disabled with no one to help.
When Children grow to teenage age, we protect and guide them through until they become mature youth ready to stand responsibly in this world (Parenting them with a purpose for better families and safe communities in their future) Thats why we say We care, we love and make a difference.

Child Development
CHRISTIAN FRIENDS Uganda child care program is aimed at raising up the next generation of Ugandan children in such a way that they understand their incredible value and are equipped to go out and change the world! so we develop talents and make dreams come true as we fight the syndrome of the Negative african culture where kids grow without exposure and self esteem in speech and development.
Education For All
CHRISTIAN FRIENDS Uganda believes in the power of education to help end poverty. We work to give children the education they need and fight the inequalities that stand in their way.
Feeding the Hungry
No child should have to wonder where their next meal will come from. Yet every 15 seconds around the world, another child dies from hunger and related causes. We are delivering food relief packages as we feed Children with nutritious food to help them grow healthy and strong.
Street Kids Ministry
Here, we remove Street kids from what they call their homes to better places
We meet them where they are, remove them from the streets, talk to them, we give them food, those who agree to go with us are taken to the center changing their mindset, showing them Parental love and bringing them to the knowledge of the love of God.
Child Equality
There are various areas, where the children are exploited and deprived of their basic rights. In order to support child equality, we have processed the campaign to support child equality especially fighting the parental mindset that a girl child doesnt need to go to school so we advocate for equal rights for both boys and girls.
Health Care
Our mission is to provide the finest medical care and treatment for every kind of disease to the child. We initiate campaign to reach to remote areas with a help of doctors to provide all kinds of required medicines against diseases that increase Child mortality rate.
Where we work
We work in remote and rural Communities of Uganda where many people are surviving below the poverty line; meaning People are leaving without the basic needs. For example Children can spend the whole day at school without eating waiting to eat a one meal at home
CHRISTIAN FRIENDS Mission International know that each community we support is different and with different needs. We take time to understand their unique needs and make ourselves on the relationships we maintain. We employ local staff, not just with expertise in our projects, but in the social and cultural environments in which they work.
CHALLENGES
Getting licensed teachers to give children right education on syllabus needed by our ministry of education. Proffessional Teachers are expensive.
Feeding the children. Currently kids get one meal a day. $1 feeds 3 children. We need to boast there feeding giving them good nutritious food in their bodies.
The children that turn 14 year and above are unmanageable coz we don’t have a budget to push them to secondary level education. Moving them from the centre at that age makes them nothing outside the community. We need to open a vocational school for them for head skills for easy job creation such as computer skills, hair dressing ,fashion and design, tailoring, carpentry, leather turning, crafts making etc.
